Videography With Kreative Thinking

Happy Tuesday! Even though Tuesday is pretty much over for most people, it’s actually just beginning for me, since I am mainly a night owl. I like to say that I am nocturnal.

Yesterday was a pretty eventful and productive day for us members of Kreative Thinking Apparel that are here in Virginia.

I’m not sure if I mentioned this before, but our whole crew is doing a documentary on who are the faces behind Kreative Thinking Apparel, what we are and what we do. We’ve been working with a videographer in our area and most of us girls went ahead and knocked out our portion of the interview section for the video. Here are some of the behind the scenes. Some interviews were held at a music studio where we have changed our venue for our Fashion show coming up in June. I had my interview in my studio (aka my dining room!)

 

(whats cool is that I met Levi from the recording group: Blackstreet. I couldn’t help but sing No Diggity and Don’t Leave-my fav songs by them) How do you like my rain boots???? hahahaha

I actually did my makeup real nice! lol most days I am drawing so I don’t bother but of course for a video…gotta put on my face hahahaha

After our video interviews, we all headed out to grub at a local mexican restaurant which hit the spot!

I cant wait for the video to be done and will show all of us! It’s going to be great!

Victorian House Built in 1920

Have you ever felt like you were born in the wrong era? I feel like this all the time. I have always been fascinated with the early 1920’s era. I had a past life regression and (you can believe or not believe in that sort of stuff) I had a past life in 1912. I could go into hours of babbling on about that, but that would stray away from what I am talking about, which I am already doing. I love Victorian Houses! When I was stationed in upstate New York, there were so many houses that I just fell in love with. Not only in New York, Victorian houses are everywhere!

Here are a few cools ones I found that I wanted to share with you!

This is my favorite one above! This would totally be the color scheme I would pick too!

The whole reason for this post is because the Kreative Thinking Apparel Team (partial team) got together earlier this evening to check out a venue for a fashion show were holding in June! We wanted it to be held in a place that would be different than your usual venue. What better place than a Victorian House! Thanks to hospitality to the Women’s Club of Ghent Norfolk, we were able to get a tour of the place.

Talk about charm and intrigue! I fell in love automatically just from stepping foot on the wraparound porch and into the entry way.

I cant wait to help host this fashion show! Its going to be fun. Tomorrow we have the first round of auditions for our models and I should be heading off to bed. Its already almost 130am! Geez! Goodnight all! Have a great friday tomorrow!

Kreative Thinking Apparel

I have exciting news to share with you! This past friday, I met up with the owner and CEO of Kreative Thinking, Antwane McClain to discuss me becoming apart of his team. He’s been looking for the last puzzle piece as he liked to call it to his creative team. So, who is Kreative Thinking?  Kreative Thinking is a very unique brand and company. Not only do they offer custom designs for you, but they have their own line in womens and mens that is just, well, no other way to put this…different, unique and something you don’t see all the time.

These were taken from a fashion show held in New York to showcase some of their creations. What I love most about it is that it fuses many different styles to make a new genre of fashion. And we all know we hate to rock something that everyone is already rockin’. We want to be unique, creative and express our individuality.

There is a big team of us all, whom I have only met through the internet so far, but I am anxious and excited for what the future holds. I’ve been brought onto the team to help out with any and all aspects of creating since I am involved in many different crafts such as sewing, fashion design, tattoo/logo design, makeup and hairstyling and fashion show coordination, I’m basically gonna be whatever they need me to be. I couldn’t be any more excited! Many of you know my passion for fashion and my own dreams to have my own clothing line, this is just one more step towards my goals and what better to learn than to have experience with an amazing connected team of artists!

So, stay tuned for what the future holds! I cant wait to share more with you!
