UNPACKING

I just spent 3 hours trying to get this wireless router to work. After all that, it still doesnt work. My mom gave it to me last night, since she found it in her shipment from Korea, and she just told me it doesnt work...and in my head I'm like "then why did you give it to me???"

Another photo of my new hair color :) more vibrant this time
I cant complain though, I still have to buy one, but at least I tried it first. I did get a few boxes full of household stuff that we desperately needed that mom gave us that she bought in Korea. Now that she is back home, she doesnt need two of everything. Can we say SCORE?!?!?!

We got more glasses, bowls, cookware, a rice cooker (yes, I'm filipino, gotta have a rice cooker!!) a toaster, rugs....its just nice to get settled and know where everything is in our place. Were picking up our dining room table tomorrow which will be nice to sit comfortably and eat.

As I'm sitting here, I wanted to start looking online for living room inspiration photos for when were all settled, I want our place to look retro and eclectic. Here are some cool photos I found on Pintrest of course.

As you can see, I got carried away on Pintrest, but I gotta say this last photo has ME written all over it! I want this room! I cannot wait to be able to decorate my house the way I really want to. What do you want your dream house to look like???

Unpacking boxes and ricecookers,

Grad Ceremony and Moving

Yesterday was raining pretty bad. I left work early so I could get ready to attend my Aunt's Graduation Ceremony for Thomas Nelson Community College. I wanted to stop by the grand opening of a CATO store that just opened up in Norfolk, but the way the rain was coming down and all the traffic...because you know people do not know how to drive in rain...let alone DRIVE AT ALL! hahahaah  Ill have to go to CATO this weekend sometime.

Im so proud of my Aunt Beth, she has been back in college for a couple years and she worked so hard too. She would call me up to help her with her math problems...like I could actually remember....hahaha
The whole family went to watch her walk across and receive her certificate and degree diploma (she has two majors I think).

While we were waiting for her to go across the stage, we were getting a lil snap happy with our cameras....my Aunt Dale and my cousin, Marina.

For my outfit...it was really cute, and half of it I borrowed from my mom's closet! hahaha My mom and I have different styles but we like alot of the same things! She was surprised that the sweater I was wearing was hers! hahaha I paired this outfit with my favorite silver glitter shoes I got from Charlotte Russe.

Jermie and I finished up our packing tonight that we were too tired to do last night. Luckily Jermie works at Target, so he got us these HUGE boxes....and we came home and did Speed Packing....you shouldve seen Jermie just throwing clothes and shoes and whatever was nearby into boxes.....hahahaha.

I already got two of my packages...the chair and the portable sink...so it was perfect timing since were getting a uhaul truck tomorrow. Im so excited that Jermie and I are going to be in our place. We have always had roomates or shared a home with other people....and its time we had our own place!

I need to get to bed since I am going into work early so I can leave early! So good night and I hope you had a great week! If youre having a rough day like I did today....just remember..its only temporary and whatever problems you are stressing about, let them go. Everything will work out on its own.

This week is FINALLY OVER!!!!

Again, this week has been super super busy. My lil brother left for California this past tuesday, and my mom arrived safely in Korea....which she didnt call...but I found out through FB. talk about power of technology. lol

my stressed out face!

Things are finally settling down, we are all moved in and trying to get settled. We havent been able to unpack all our boxes, but I am slowly workin through them one box at a time....but the house looks like are a bunch of hoarders.

And speaking of hoarders, my mother hoards empty boxes!!!!!! Crazy, huh???? I know! I was cleanning out my old closet and my mom has alot of PartyLite boxes because she is a consultant and all the boxes were empty!!!!

Well, this will be a short post for now....off to go unpack!
