Marionette/Lolita Doll Face

It was dress up day today, so everyone came in wearing cute, creepy, funny, sweet or crazy costumes. The weather turned very chilly today with cold wind and some ice rain, I thought it was going to snow. I just found out that parts in NYC got some snow too. CRAZY!!!

I decided to dress up as a Marionette/ Lolita Doll. The best part of this look was the eyelashes! I love how it makes my eyes bigger and doll like. I wanted to do more to this look, but just didnt have the time. I will have to do a photo shoot and elaborate on all the details.

This is my friend Jinaki who dressed like a guy! hahahah

There were lots of other awesome looks: check out these photos:

Today went by super fast and now I am at home, lounged out in my bed- it is so cold outside- so I have my fluffy socks on, sweatpants and a comfy sweater and my laptop to keep me warm. hahahaha

My hubby is out with my brother doing the Zombie Run in Ghent Norfolk so I am getting some relax time :)

What do you like to do when you are home on a cold night? Watch movies? Make hot cocoa? Leave a comment, would love to hear about you! Dont forget to Join or Follow my blog for more updates!

Bouncy Houses, hot chocolate and scary masks!

Its a sunday afternoon or I should say evening and I am sitting with my two kids and husband finishing up watching Home Alone. This is the first chance I got all day that I can finally sit and rest!

I took the kids to a friend of mine's daughter's 2nd birthday party that she hosted at The Bounce House. If you dont know what a bounce house is, it is those big inflatable things that kids jump on and slide on and just run into things. Many people usually rent them at their homes in their backyards. or if youre kandee johnson, she puts them in her living room! hahaha (youtube it, its funny!) The Bounce House is where they have like 10 of these things set up and kids are just running around amped up on sugar and wreaking havoc. HAHAHAHA

Yummy Ariel Cupcake Cake! SOOOO cute and yummy...see the birthday girls lil hand sneakin some icing. hahaha

After the party, we stayed for an extra half hour and let the kids get tuckered out while I chatted with a friend from school about the kiddos aka Mommy talk. hahaha

Then once we picked up Jermie from work, we wanted to go look at whats in the Halloween Stores because its all of ours favorite holiday besides Christmas! I stocked up on cream costume makeup for upcoming Halloween tutorials! I got alot of inspiration and am ready to go!!! Matti and Jermie got a few fake guns to play with and make noise to drive me crazy!!! hahaha Bella was scared walkin in the store, since she didnt get any toys, we treated her to Skinny Dip.

We made a pit stop at Starbucks where I had to recharge with a cinnamon dulce latte while the kids drank Hot Chocolate. Jermie got his white chocolate mocha-which was a nice way to relax on our drive home.

So, that was my day today, now I am going through emails, and organizing everything I need to do within the next week or two including finishing tattoo drawings and planning my next tutorials for halloween!

Quote of the day:
Starbucks says they are going to start putting religious quotes on cups. The very first one will say, 'Jesus! This cup is expensive!'

Finally November!!!!

So Halloween came and went this year. I didnt get to do much but I did enjoy hanging out with the family and the hubby. We did get to dress us. My hubby as a scary clown ( who scares teh crap of a teenage girl walking around with her friends in the street, and made her cry....and then her friend told him he was a for a lack of better term "d**k..keepin it PG here lol. and I dressed up as a scary version of Harley Quinn...whom is of course in the comic books, is Joker's girlfriend. I did my make up and hair and did my best to look very disturbed. lol

I was told repeately by many that they couldnt take me serious when I look like this. lol. My brother, cousin and hubby participated in a zombie run in Norfolk for Halloween, where like 1200 people had to go to check points and avoid getting attacked by "zombies" who were track runners from ODU......crazy..here's a pic of one of them...and I wonder how he did his make up or who put this look together...they did an awesome job.

So umm...yea. My hunny and I also went and saw Paranormal Activity 2. and I know many people dont like these movies or think they are stupid, but I loved it! I must have screamed like 5 or 6 times! We also took the kids to a pumpkin patch and picked out pumpkins and let them run around on bouncy inflatables. So, overall..our halloween was great. Now its time for the holidays!!! Sorry I havent blogged in a while..just been busy, Ill try to blog more throughout the week! Thanks for reading and alot of love!
